Visionary Ophthalmology is proud to announce, the addition of Dr. Luis Toledo, O.D. to it’s team. Dr. Toledo has been practicing as an optometrist since 2004


Dr. Toledo specializes in comprehensive eye care and the management of ocular disease. He has extensive experience in contact lenses and pre and post operative ophthalmic surgical care including the latest laser refractive procedures, pterygium surgery, and premium IOL’s co-management.


Dr. Toledo graduated from the School of Optometry, Inter American University of Puerto Rico. He completed his internship at the Inter American Eye Institute.


Dr Toledo was the Clinical Instructor-Faculty at the Inter American University, Optometry School, and then Medical Faculty-Optometrist at the Institute of Eyes and Skin, in Puerto Rico. Dr. Toledo was “Clinical Examiner” at the National Board of Examiners in Optometry Part III –Clinical Skills Tests.


Dr Toledo is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, in Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease. He is also licensed and certified by the Michigan Board of Optometry, the Maryland Board of Examiners in Optometry, the Washington D.C. Board of Optometry, and the Puerto Rico Board of Examiners in Optometry.


Dr. Toledo is a native of Puerto Rico. He speaks Spanish. In his spare time he enjoys watching a movies and reading a books.
